We target energy waste reduction, develop a roadmap of projects utilizing proven technologies, and employ revenue generating strategies such as Demand Response, Bill Auditing, or EV Charging. Our goal is to enable the owner or manager to focus on operating their building and providing the best experience for their tenants.
Reduce Energy Waste
We identify sources of energy waste in buildings such as within constant-volume systems, from poorly controlled or out-of-spec systems, or in steam condensate or winter season condenser water that provide a valuable sensible heat that can be repurposed for use in the building.
Capture Incentives for Planned Projects
Our engineers will support existing capital plans, develop or validate energy savings calculations and capture custom incentive for complex projects that have a net energy savings.
Budget and Implement Projects
Commercial building owners have a wealth of information and opportunities available to them, but typically need a reliable group to put the pieces together into a compelling business case that can be budgeted. Our team manages this process to ensure the project can be installed and operated as intended to add value to the base building or tenant space.
Support the Landlord<>Tenant Relationship
Depending on the tasks at hand, RKB can quantify a commercial tenant's Local Law impact in their space and support decarbonization efforts inline with the law. We can manage the work necessary to comply with Local law 88's Lighting and Submetering requirements for tenant spaces.
